When Bethell Projects were contracted by a previous client to work on completely renovating this 1930s semi in Earlsfield, we were excited to get started on making this a fabulous family home.
The kitchen and dining area are at the heart of any home, and so we opened it out, adding patio doors to the back wall to give the family a revitalised, open plan living area. The family specified that they enjoyed entertaining, and so we were excited to provide a kitchen island on wheels which could be pushed to one side to create more space for those all-important guests. Creating an un-walled separation between rooms was a shrewd specification by the family, and we achieved this with a delightful transition flooring, blending tiles and wood to create seamless separation. We particularly enjoy adding a signature piece which adds a touch of individuality, and achieved this with the tiled splash back behind the large stove.
We were also commissioned to create a loft extension, adding a beautiful en-suite Master Bedroom to this exciting project. The sliding, mirrored door to the bathroom is one of our favourite additions to this home, managing to be a feature of the room whilst adding the functionality of saving much-needed space. Finally, we added a touch of fun to the home with the spectacular 3D tiles in the main bathroom.
